Overload protection for partial discharge measurement devices

The CPL 542 and CPL 543 quadripoles are external measurement impedances used to synchronize partial discharge (PD) measurement equipment with the test voltage. The measurement impedances separate the PD measurement signal from the test voltage to the PD and V outputs. An integrated 90 Vpeak protection device reliably prevents dangerous over-voltages and current surges from damaging PD measurement equipment and causing costly failures.
